We offer short term therapy services designed to rehabilitate our residents for a safe return home, or to optimize a long-term resident’s independence within the health care center.

Services include:

• Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy services in partnership with Progressive Health

• Ambulation and fall prevention

• Transfer training

• Contracture prevention and management/splinting

• Eating and swallowing treatment

• Wound prevention and care

• Wheelchair seating and positioning/restraint reduction

Newburgh Healthcare partners with ProgressiveHealth to provide our residents with in-house Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Physical Therapy.
