Every year the Activity Department goes to the West Side Nut Club Fall Festival to pick up food for our residents to sample.
The annual Fall Festival is a cultural event for the region that has been taking place the first full week of October on Franklin Street since 1921. This festival features over 137 booths that offer an eclectic variety of food. The booths are run by not-for-profit groups in the region.
The festival also offers music, a parade, and carnival attractions like rides and games.
The residents voted on what food they wanted to sample during their September Resident Council meeting.
After picking up the food, the Activity Department then threw a party where all of our residents got to sample what they had chosen!
