DO YOU OFFER HOSPICE CARE?
Newburgh Healthcare works in collaboration with various hospice providers for patients with life-limiting illnesses. Hospice care provides a comprehensive approach to end-of-life care that focuses on the patient's comfort, dignity, and quality of life. The hospice teams we work with include physicians, nurses, social workers, and chaplains who work together to provide physical, emotional, and spiritual support to patients and their families. The goal of hospice care is to help patients and their families make the most of the time they have left together and to ensure that patients receive care that is tailored to their individual needs and wishes.
DO YOU OFFER INDEPENDENT LIVING?

IS NEWBURGH HEALTHCARE PET FRIENDLY?
Newburgh Healthcare is a pet-friendly facility that recognizes the benefits of pet therapy for its patients. The activities department at Newburgh Healthcare offers pet therapy as part of its program, where patients are visited by therapy animals such as dogs or cats, under the supervision of their handlers. The staff at Newburgh Healthcare understands the positive impact that pets can have on a patient's overall wellbeing, and therefore also welcome families to bring their pets for visits with their loved ones. We do require that all visiting pets be up-to-date on their vaccinations and kept on a leash.
